Dates announced for 2017 ‘Understanding Cotton’ training

ICA Bremen – the global centre for cotton testing, research, and quality related issues – is pleased to announce the launch of a unique two-day training programme ‘Understanding Cotton’ from 14 – 15 March in Bremen, Germany. This will be the first time that a retail focused cotton course has ever been delivered and it will focus on the complete supply chain.

The modular training course is tailored to professionals involved in the retail sector and will cover key cotton supply chain areas: giving delegates a clear understanding of the supply chain elements that affect the end product. These modules will be delivered by industry experts from ICA Bremen, and the Bremen Fibre Institute (FIBRE) alongside other key figures from the cotton sector. Due to the exclusive nature of the course, and the highly interactive delivery style, places are limited. The full programme for the course can be seen here.

Kai Hughes ICA Bremen Managing Director, said: “I am excited that we have been able to produce a short, comprehensive course which provides professionals from the retail sector the opportunity to engage with those at the opposite end of the supply chain. This means that they gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and issues which affect the cotton sector, and their impact on retailers.”
