A seven day, comprehensive training programme concentrating purely on quality issues in raw cotton. It will provide you with thorough training – from the classification of cotton from various growths to practical HVI training plus single fibre based testing like AFIS through to examples of yarn testing.

Our training programmes can be customised to meet your specific needs and, where appropriate, delivered at your own premises. The programme covers the complete cotton supply chain, from production and harvesting through spinning, fabric manufacturing, regional markets, cotton quality specifications, pricing, and textile testing, with practical guidance on preventing common quality issues.

In association with Deutsche Institute für Textil+ und Faserforschung Denkendorf (DITF), this two-day training course covers a range of textile areas including spinning, weaving, knitting and finishing. Delegates will even get to see the machinery used at DITF, Germany’s largest centre of textile research.
