Cotton Classing & Testing Training

A six day, comprehensive training programme concentrating purely on quality issues in raw cotton. It will provide you with thorough training – from the classification of cotton from various growths to practical HVI training plus single fibre based testing like AFIS through to examples of yarn testing.

What is included in the programme?

The programme incorporates a wide range of topics delivered by industry experts from ICA Bremen and the Bremen Fibre Institute (FIBRE).

Participants will receive a certificate at the end of the course from ICA Bremen which will act as proof of your qualification in cotton classification.

Who should attend?

The programme is aimed at individuals who wish to gain an in-depth knowledge in cotton classing and testing and is particularly suitable for merchants, growers and the textile industry.

What is the cost?

The course price for ICA or BBB members is €1,300 (+VAT where applicable). For non-members the cost is €1,500 (+VAT where applicable).
Ticket prices include training and training materials; refreshments on working days; a visit to the local warehouse; a farewell meal towards the end of the course.
