Since our launch in October 2011, ICA Bremen has received an unprecedented volume of cotton samples for testing.
In order to cope with demand, we are introducing a range of operational improvements to guarantee an “excellent” level of customer service for 2012 and beyond. The improvements include a new HVI line and an increase in staffing levels.
Karsten Froese of ICA Bremen explains: “I am delighted that the demand for our testing service has been overwhelming. In fact, you could say we have been ‘a victim of our own success’. We do not want this success and the increase in demand to have a detrimental impact on our service. That is why we have been proactive in making changes and introducing improvements.
Our new HVI line, the ‘Premier ART 2’, includes a gravimetric trash tester and allows us to provide customers with the regularly required quality parameters, as well as a quick and reliable trash test. This addition to our laboratory equipment will enable us to offer excellent service levels, especially during times of high workload.
The extra allocation of staff – four in total – will focus full time on testing.
I am confident that these improvements will enable us to provide an exceptional level of customer service, one that will see ICA Bremen go from strength to strength.”
